FRANCESCA GHISETTI

Dr Francesca Ghisetti is a former Professor of Structural Geology at Catania University (Italy) and Research Professor at the University of Otago  (Dunedin, New Zealand). She is currently  Adjunct Professor at the University of Canterbury (Christchurch, New Zealand) and consultant for TerraGeoLogica .

Francesca is a field-oriented Structural Geologist. She has worked on several projects in Italy, Greece, California, Australia and New Zealand.  Her scientific publications and geological maps focus on the structural setting of thrust-and-fold belts,  syn-orogenic basin evolution, active faulting and seismotectonics.
